Tallahassee, FL – Gadsden and Wakulla Announce More Closings
Gadsden and Wakulla county offices will be closed Friday in lieu of Tropical Storm Faye.
Gadsden County residents can pick up sandbags at the County Works Sand Pit at Post Plant Road.
Wakulla residents can pick up sandbags at the Sheriff's Department on Aaron Road in Crawfordville.
Gadsden County shelters, East Gadsden High School (special needs) and West Gadsden High School, are not currently open, but are scheduled to be on stand-by status in the morning.
Officials have issued a Wind Advisory and a Flood Watch and are expecting 8-12 inches of rain and Tropical Storm gusts at 25-30 mph.
