Former Tallahassee Rep. Alan Williams has a new job: lobbyist. The firm Meenan P.A. announced his hire Monday evening.
The firm announced Williams’ hire Monday evening. Per state rules, Williams can’t lobby the legislature for two years, but Tim Meenan says Williams will focus on legislative and local government work for out-of-state clients.
Williams served eight years in the House of Representatives before being termed out last year. He ran unsuccessfully for Leon County Supervisor of Elections but lost to Mark Early.
Prior to the start of his legislative career, Williams was an aide to former Tallahassee Mayor John Marks.
