Everything is shipshape in The Quincy Music Theatre’s musical sea outing “Anything Goes,” casting off this Friday, Oct. 6 and cruising through two fabulous weekends, Oct. 6-8 and 13-15. Ethel Merman once said that "Anything Goes" was about "a girl on a boat.” Except she forgot to mention the fabulous dancers; that the art deco ocean liner is jumping with nonstop Cole Porter standards; and the cast rich in 1930s musical-comedy characters. Directed by talented director and choreographer Jacob Arnett, the QMT production numbers are outstanding and include famous Porter hits like “I Get a Kick Out of You” and “Anything Goes.” So, be sure to book your tickets today on the S.S. American for a delightful romp with some of the best musical numbers around! “Anything Goes" plays October 6-8 and 13-15. Tickets are $15 for students/seniors/military and $18 for adults. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and matinees begin at 2:30 p.m. on Sundays and the second Saturday, October 14.
